PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound collecting device that suppresses noise present in an area between a sound source to be collected and a microphone. PSOLUTION: The sound collecting device has six or more sound collection units which collect sounds in different angle areas using output signals of two microphone arrays. The sound collecting device further includes a sound source generation area estimation unit which obtains level differences by the areas in an area where angle areas of the two microphone arrays overlap with each other using sound collection signals obtained by the sound collection units, rearranges the level differences by the areas according to large/small relation, and outputs pieces of area information rearranged corresponding to the rearranged level differences by the areas as sound source area information, and a power spectrum estimation unit which computes selection area information from the sound collection signals obtained by the sound collection units and the sound source area information, and estimates signal powers of the sound source corresponding to the selection area information by frequencies.
