PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire cadastral information more easily on site. PSOLUTION: A GIS client 26 of a mobile telephone 2 acquires, in accordance with user's operation, latitude/longitude coordinates of the present position from a GPS receiver 29. Then, the GIS client 26 accesses a cadastral information providing server 111 via a data communication control section 22 and a radio communication section 21, acquires cadastral data indicating the information of a lot including the present position on a cadaster and on a cadastral map from the cadastral information providing server 111, and displays the cadastral data on a display device 27 via a control section 20. Then, in accordance with the user's operation, the GIS client 26 requests the cadastral information providing server 111 to transmit via e-mail the acquired cadastral data to a destination desired by the user. When the cadastral information providing server 111 receives the request, it transmits the e-mail with the requested cadastral data as an attached file to the desired destination via an e-mail transmitting section 116.
