PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic polymer monolith separation medium into which a long chain acyl group with excellent reverse-phase separation property has been introduced.SOLUTION: The separation medium is constituted of an organic polymer monolith having an 8-24C acyl group. The organic polymer monolith preferably has at least one group selected from the following formula 1, formula 2, and formula 3, and the average carbon number of the acyl group is, for example, 16-20. -C(OR)-C(OH)-...(1), -C(OR)-C(OR)-...(2), -C(OR)-C(A)-...(3) (In the formulas, Rand Rrepresent 8-24C acyl group same as or different from each other. A represents an ammonia residue or a primary amine residue.)
