PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member which is capable of starting up a fixing device of an image forming apparatus at high speed and has a low heat capacity (low density), high heat conductivity, and low rubber hardness, a method for manufacturing the fixing member, a fixing rotating body, the fixing device, and the image forming apparatus.;SOLUTION: The fixing member constitutes the fixing rotating body which incorporates a heat source and conveys a recording medium carrying unfixed toner to a nip part between the fixing rotating body and a pressure part coming into press-contact with the fixing rotating body through the recording medium, to fix the unfixed toner on the recording medium.
