PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of data transfer by preventing reads from overtaking writes when a buffer comprising an FIFO memory is used.;SOLUTION: A data transfer control device 100 includes a write control part 101 provided on the side of a memory 120 for controlling the write of data to an FIFO memory 102; a read control part 103 provided on the side of a processor for controlling the read of data from the FIFO memory 102; a read start computing part 111 for computing the timing to output a notification of transfer start indicating the start of read to the read control part 103 according to transfer requirements as to the write and read of data to and from the FIFO memory 102; and an asynchronous transfer part 104 for asynchronously transferring a clock of transfer start notification output from the read start computing part 111, and notifying the read control part 103 of it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
