PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for infrared laser fixing that prevents occurrence of voids and can form an image with sufficient fixing strength, and a method of manufacturing the toner for infrared laser fixing.SOLUTION: The toner 1 for infrared laser fixing includes a binder resin 2, a coloring agent, wax 3, and an infrared absorbent 4. The infrared absorbent 4 is internally added to the wax 3. The binder resin 2 contains a crystalline polyester resin and amorphous polyester resin. The crystalline polyester resin has a melting point lower than that of the wax 3, and the amorphous polyester resin has a glass-transition temperature lower than that of the wax 3.
