PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for forming an organic thin film, the material adaptable to a wet process which is simple and suppresses the production cost and enables formation of an organic semiconductor thin film by a solution coating method using a solution, and to provide an organic thin film, an organic thin film element, an n-type organic thin film transistor and the like using the material.;SOLUTION: The organic thin film material includes a compound expressed by general formula (1) prepared by making a compound (X) having a cyclic π-conjugate skeleton structure comprising an aromatic ring react with a melamine derivative. In the formula, R represents an alkyl group or X(CH2)n which may include a hetero atom of N, O, S or P; X includes a skeleton structure represented by perylene, anthracene, phthalocyanine, isoindoline, isoindolinone, phenanthroline, naphthalene, pyrene, triphenylene, naphthacene, pentacene, bithiophene, terthiophene or the like, which may include an alkyl group and/or a triazine group as a substituent, wherein the alkyl group may include a hetero atom of O, S or P; and n represents an integer of 0 to 18.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
