PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wheelchair which is advantageous for suppressing the comfortability of a seated person from being impaired due to heat to be generated by a control part, and to provide a pocket type storage member for the electric wheelchair. PSOLUTION: The electric wheelchair includes: a wheelchair frame 1 having a seat part 10; driving wheels 3; an electric motor mechanism 4 for driving the driving wheels 3; the control part 200 for controlling the electric motor mechanism 4; and a travelling operation part 5. The wheelchair has the pocket type storage member 6 which is removably attached to the back side of the seated person seated on the seat part 10 in the wheelchair frame 1 and includes pockets 71, 72, 73. The control part 200 is separated from the travelling operation part 5 of the wheelchair frame 1 and removably stored in the pocket 71 of the pocket type storage member 6.
