PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch pattern registration device, a touch pattern registration method, and a portable terminal device capable of accepting intuitive, understandable, and easy-to-remember touch patterns to be registered and easily calling up each function by the touch patterns.;SOLUTION: A touch pattern registration device such as a portable terminal device accepts any spoken phrase to be input as an audio data with regard to a process desired to associate (S11). The pattern of the audio data input is analyzed (S12) and is converted to a touch pattern (S13). The converted touch pattern is checked whether it is identical to that of registered (S14). If the converted touch pattern is identical to the registered pattern, the touch pattern is converted into different touch pattern by modifying the touch pattern input area (S15).
