PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of improving display quality that can suppress a great decrease in display brightness even when the voltage of a power source drops, a driving system, and an active matrix display device.;SOLUTION: In a driving system 1 of an active matrix type organic EL display, a reference voltage supply device 5 is configured to monitor the voltage of a battery 141 and supply a reference voltage Vref to a data driver 3. Then the reference voltage supply device 5 is configured to decrease the value of the reference voltage Vref when the voltage of the battery 141 drops.
