PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable corn penetration testing device which is capable of executing a portable corn penetration testing without requiring manual assistance and advantageous in eliminating variations in measurements.;SOLUTION: A portable corn penetration testing device 10A is set on the ground by placing lower ends of two side plates 1202 on a surface of the ground with a frame 12 (a corn mounting rod 20) orthogonal to the surface of the ground. In this state, a tip of a corn 22 is positioned at almost the same level as the surface of the ground or at a level slightly higher than the same. A base machine is remotely operated to supply a hydraulic cylinder 24 with hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pressure supply source to extend a cylinder rod 2404 with a constant speed of extension. Through this operation, the tip of the corn mounting rod 20 is pushed downward lower than a lower connecting plate 1206 and the corn 22 is pressed into the ground at the constant speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
