PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge amount measuring method of precisely measuring a discharge amount, to provide a discharge method of liquid material using the discharge amount measuring method, and to provide a manufacturing method of color filter, a manufacturing method of liquid crystal display device and a fabrication method of electrooptical apparatus which use the discharge method of liquid material. PSOLUTION: In the method of measuring discharge amount, discharge amounts of a plurality of droplet discharge heads which discharge droplets from nozzles are measured. The method of measuring discharge amount comprises: a discharge condition setting process of setting the order of droplet discharge heads of discharging droplets, a discharge time 104 to discharge the droplets and a non-discharge time 105 between discharge from one of the droplet discharge heads and discharge from another droplet discharge head; a measuring discharge process of discharging droplets from nozzles belonging to the droplet discharge heads; and a measuring process of measuring the discharged discharge amount, wherein, by repeating the measuring discharge process and the measuring process, discharge amounts of the respective droplet discharge heads are measured and, in the measuring discharge process, the droplet is discharged in the order of the set droplet discharge heads, the discharge is performed for the set discharge time 104 and the discharge is stopped for the set non-discharge time 105.
