TEMPORARY PLUG MEMBER AND METHOD FOR REMOVING PIPE BRANCH MEMBER USING THE TEMPORARY PLUG MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary plug member for quickly performing the inspection of an installation state of a normal plug when installing the normal plug on the basis of gas pressure in a gas conduit, and a method for removing a pipe branch member using the temporary plug member, in the gas conduit such as the gas pipe.SOLUTION: The temporary plug member 2 disposed before the construction of a normal plug to a branched pipe which is branched from the gas conduit includes: a body 4 inserted to the branched pipe; a through-hole 6 which is disposed on the body 4 and penetrates the gas conduit side and the normal plug side; a valve seat 8 disposed on the through-hole 6; and a valve member 12 which has a valve body 10 seated on the valve seat 8 and a pressure reception part of receiving a force applied from the normal plug side where the valve body 10 is seated on the valve seat 8 in a state that the temporary plug member 2 is installed to the branched pipe of the gas conduit, the pressure reception part receives the force from the normal plug side, and thereby, the valve body 10 is separated from the valve seat 8 so as to make the gas conduit side communicate with the normal plug side.
