PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die repair welding material of low cost, capable of performing good repair welding by effectively avoiding the occurrence of defective welding even under the constraint of a posture in repair welding work, and capable of allowing a hardness as welded to be a proper hardness against the hardness of aluminum die casting die.;SOLUTION: The die repair welding material is used for at least final mounding of a repair part of an aluminum die casting die composed of JIS SKD61, with the hardness as welded of a welding metal being HV420-550. The die repair welding material has such composition as containing, by mass%, C:0.15-0.30%, Si:0.20-1.00%, Mn:0.30-1.50%, Cr:3.6-6.0%, Mo:0.8-1.5%, V:0.10-0.80%, along with the remaining portion of Fe and an inevitable element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
