PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separator capable of obtaining a product gas of high concentration immediately after starting of operation.;SOLUTION: The gas separator is made to a pressure variation adsorption system for repeatedly performing at least four steps including the first step provided with at least two adsorption columns T1, T2 and a storage tank, pressurizing the adsorption column T1 and depressurizing the adsorption column T2; the second step for communicating raw material gas introduction ends of the adsorption columns T1, T2 with each other and the product gas leading out ends with each other and making a pressure of the adsorption column T2 approaching to a pressure of the adsorption column T1; the third step for pressurizing the adsorption column T2 and depressurizing the adsorption column T1; and the fourth step for communicating the raw material gas introduction ends of the adsorption columns T1, T2 with each other and the product gas leading out ends with each other and making the pressure of the adsorption column T1 approach to the pressure of the adsorption column T2.
