PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block-formed material of higher fatty acid zinc having a higher durability and higher smoothness than those of the conventional block-formed material of higher fatty acid zinc, and capable of being used suitably as a lubricant of business machines such as a static copying machine, etc., a grinding agent, a cleaning assistant, a developing assistant, etc.;SOLUTION: This block-formed material of higher fatty acid zinc is obtained by cooling/solidifying a heated molten material of raw materials containing the higher fatty acid zinc and 0 to ≤0.12 mass% total amount of an alkali metal of the group I of the Periodic table and an alkaline earth metal of the group II of the Periodic table.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
