[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An extractor for a quinone compound comprises an extraction vessel (9) into which an environment-derived sample can be introduced, a liquid feed line (6) for inserting supercritical carbon dioxide into the extraction vessel (9), pumps (3, 5)for feeding supercritical carbon dioxide into the liquid feed line (6), a back pressure regulator (11) for maintaining the inside of the extraction vessel (9) at a predetermined pressure, a heater (10) for maintaining the extraction vessel (9) at a predetermined temperature, and an adsorption member (12) for adsorbing the extracted quinone compound. In order to carry out the extraction step, an environment-derived sample is introduced into the extraction vessel (9), and, while regulating the heater (10) at a predetermined temperature, the pumps (3, 5) are driven, and carbon dioxide and methanol are inserted at respective predetermined flow rates through the line (6).
