PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for managing a workpiece or an architectural structure along with information of a component when it has been manufactured/acquired as the component to be used for the workpiece or the architectural structure, the component that is difficult to give an identification number and has no specific form in itself.;SOLUTION: A construction history information management system of the present invention includes a database having first attribute information that relates to a component when it has been manufactured or acquired, and a second attribute information that relates to a component when the component is used for a workpiece or an architectural structure. The system searches the database based on an identification number of the component to retrieve the first attribute information and the second attribute information along with information on a workpiece or an architectural structure related to the identification number, and/or searches the database based on the information on the workpiece or the architectural structure to retrieve all or a part of the identification numbers related to the work piece of architectural structure together with the first attribute information and second attribute information related to all or a part of the identification numbers.
