PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matting agent giving a thermoplastic resin composition having good matte appearance and high water-whitening resistance durable to outdoor use.;SOLUTION: The matting agent is composed of a hydroxy-containing acrylic polymer having a glass transition temperature of 80-120°C and produced by polymerizing a monomer composition composed of 1-30 pts.mass of a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate having a 1-8C alkyl group and 10-99 pts.mass of an alkyl methacrylate having a 1-13C alkyl group (the sum of the (meth) acrylates is 100 pts.mass).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
