PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package of a carbon fiber precursor tow and a flame resistant fiber precursor tow, having high storage bulk density, stable in a form of a tow in packing, and capable of stably receiving the tow when receiving the tow from a packing state. PSOLUTION: This invention is the package for packing the carbon fiber precursor tow and the flame resistant fiber precursor tow having the total fineness of thick fineness of 48,000 dtx to 7,200,000 dtx in a packing vessel. In the package of the carbon fiber precursor tow and the flame resistant fiber precursor tow, a storage bulk specific gravity of the carbon fiber precursor tow and the flame resistant fiber precursor tow packed in the packing vessel, is set to 340 kg/mSP3/SPor more.
