PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance discriminating device, an electric appliance discriminating method, and an electric appliance discrimination program capable of not using a highly precise measuring instrument and not needing calibration of a measuring instrument with respect to the measuring instrument used for discriminating an electric appliance.SOLUTION: An electric appliance discriminating device 201 comprises: a measurement part 51 to output measurement information indicating a measurement result while measuring at least one of a current and a voltage which are supplied to an electric appliance 1 from a power source 2; a normalizing part 52 to normalize a current level and voltage level which the measurement information received from the measurement part 51 indicates; and an appliance discrimination part 53 to discriminate a type of the electric appliance 1 based on the normalization result by the normalizing part 52.
