PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepaid settlement system for executing prepaid settlement using a credit card number, capable of providing an online prepaid settlement services by practical use of an existing settlement network.;SOLUTION: In the prepaid settlement system, credit card numbers having received allocation from credit card issue companies are stored, and a credit card number is imparted to each customer using the prepaid settlement. In the prepaid settlement system, when the customer pays a price by electronic commerce or the like, the imparted credit card number is designated, the settlement using the settlement network of a credit card is performed, and a request of authorization is received.
