PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message reply system which switches a normal message to a special one and performs incoming response (reply) if response impossibility that includes receiver absence continues for a long time, and improves convenience, such as reduction of useless recalling.;SOLUTION: The message reply system in a telephone communication network has a calling-side telephone device 2, an incoming-side telephone device 4, and a relay base station device 3 which relays telephone communication between them. The incoming-side telephone device 4 includes: a history recording means (database) 5 for sequentially storing information, such as incoming information which is input from the outside and indicates a use situation; and an absent message switching control means 8 for determining whether or not the incoming-side telephone device 4 has not used for a long time based on the sequentially stored information history and replying a prepared special message that is different from a normal absent message to the calling-side telephone device 2 if determining that the incoming-side telephone device 4 has not used for a long time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
