PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of specifying a portion where the spring back of press formed products is caused economically and efficiently. PSOLUTION: This method of specifying the cause of the generation of the springback has a press-forming analyzing step where the forming data of the press-formed goods is obtained by performing the numerical analysis of forming conditions of press forming, an arithmetic processing step where the arithmetic processing is performed to at least one of the data of physical property and physical quantity in a partial region of the forming data of the press-formed goods and a calculation step of the springback quantity for calculating the springback quantity on the basis of the result of the arithmetic processing.
