PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accretion remover which operates spiral rods wound around conductors constituting a multi-conductor power transmission line along external peripheries of the conductors by using one drive unit, in the multi-conductor power transmission line stretched between steel towers, and an accretion removing method.;SOLUTION: The accretion remover of the multi-conductor power transmission line removes accretions of the conductors by rotating the spiral rods wound around the conductors constituting the multi-conductor power transmission line along the external peripheries of the conductors, in the multi-conductor power transmission line stretched between the steel towers. Supporting bodies are arranged inside the conductors, small gears for the conductors connecting base ends of the spiral rods are rotatably attached to the conductors via the supporting bodies, respectively, large gears for driving are rotatably attached inside the small gears for the conductors, the small gears for the conductors and the large gears for driving are engaged with each other, and the small gears for the conductors connecting the base ends of the spiral rods are rotated all together by rotations of the large gears for driving.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
