PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a name solution system that reduces work load of a server used for name solution.;SOLUTION: The name solution system has a terminal device 80 which accesses a device, the network prefix of which is the same in an IPv6 network, and a name solution server 90. An inquiry information transmitter 81 transmits inquiry information including a network prefix and an access destination device's host name to the name solution server 90, and a network prefix extractor 92 extracts the network prefix included in the inquiry information received from the terminal device 80. An interface identifier extractor 93 extracts an interface identifier corresponding to the host name included in the inquiry information from an interface identifier memory 91, and an IPv6 address generator 94 generates an IPv6 address that the extracted network prefix and interface identifier are connected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
