PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device which enable treatment of a selenium raw material at a low cost even when high melting point Pt, Pd, Fe and the like are contained in the raw material.;SOLUTION: The method for vacuum distillating selenium comprises previously melting a raw material containing selenium at 400-500°C in a pre-melting furnace, then previously removing a formed residue (containing Pt, Pd and the like), and purifying the selenium in a vacuum distillation device through a melting pot.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
