The box has U shaped front and rear flaps (3, 4) each defining an openwork part (22) for permitting a user to manually access an object in the box. A base (8) is formed with a central panel (9) that is provided with flaps (10) on each of several sides. Two opposite flaps are provided with tongues (10`) that are adhered on outer periphery for forming a rigid tray. The base is integrated with a lower part of lateral belt (2) by a partially precut portion (P) and/or by adhering points in broken line, where the portion is adhered only on an adjacent wall. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an assembly of blanks (2) a method for forming a packing box with polygonal section.
