PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for detecting an interface level capable of accurately and externally detecting the interface level of a content existing in an internal space of a member whose temperature is to be measured having the internal space.;SOLUTION: A temperature distribution on a line segment L is acquired on the surface of the member T whose temperature is to be measured, and a one-dimensional function f(x) approximated to the temperature distribution is derived and an inflection point pf thereon is derived, and the interface s position is detected based on the inflection point pf. The inflection point pf is derived as follows: the one-dimensional function f(x) is divided into fine continuous sections; each temperature difference between adjacent fine sections is derived respectively; a progression of differences constituted of a plurality of temperature difference values is derived; a bending point bp on a graph is derived from the graph acquired by plotting each value constituting the progression of differences; and the inflection point pf is derived therefrom.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
