PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus capable of properly detecting tire information such as air pressure information of the tire and transmitting the same still even though the puncture of the tire is repaired using puncture repairing agent by a new system different from conventional technique and a tire information monitoring system.;SOLUTION: The transmission apparatus used for the tire information monitoring system has a sensor for detecting the condition of air filled in the tire cavity area, a transmission apparatus for transmitting the detected tire information, a casing where an opening in which an inside space and the tire cavity area are in communication with each other is arranged, and a locking member locked to the opening and mounted on the casing. The first communicating groove for communicating the tire cavity area and the inside space is arranged in the first side face contacting with the opening of the locking member.
