PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce the uncertainty of a practical standard mechanical quantity generator.;SOLUTION: A power point of a power point box 18 is butted on a lever section 3b of a reference standard 3 as a calibration apparatus mounted to a practical standard torque meter, and the mechanical quantities are generated by rectilinearly moving the power point box with a rectilinearly moving mechanism. This constitution comprises: a rectilinearly moving member 16 rectilinearly movable in the moving direction of the power point box 18; a first driving section for applying a rectilinear moving force to the rectilinearly moving member 16; an elastic link section for linking the power point box 18 to the rectilinearly moving member 16 via coarse adjusting springs 19 and 20; and a second driving section for applying a rectilinear moving force to the power point box 18 via a coarse adjusting spring 40.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
