PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining an ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme)-inhibitory peptide mixture in high concentrations from natural matter without the need of any special refining process, and to provide such a natural matter-derived ACE-inhibitory peptide mixture with high ACE-inhibitory activity. PSOLUTION: The method for producing the ACE-inhibitory peptide mixture comprises the first step of making a cellulase act on Sake lees, rice Shochu lees, hot rice and/or rice bran, the second step of removing a liquid fraction from the mixture obtained by the first step, and the third step of making a neutral protease and/or acidic protease act on solids obtained by the second step.
