PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection material which is laminated with another layer without damaging the adsorption properties of a layer consisting of a gas-adsorptive substance such as activated carbon, which is flexible and minimizes the drop of the adsorption properties, and to provide protection clothes using the material. PSOLUTION: The protection material and the protection clothes are obtained by laminating the gas-adsorptive layer comprising the layer (gas-adsorptive layer) consisting of the activated carbon that has a BET specific surface area of 700 mSP2/SP/g and 3,000 mSP2/SP/g with another layer, using an adhesive having a melt index of 100 g/10 min.
