PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance history management system and a maintenance history management method by which a maintenance history is reliably registered.;SOLUTION: The maintenance history management system includes: a file server 11 storing a takeover journal in which operation conditions of a facility are recorded and which is taken over during takeover of operation of the facility; and a personal computer 12₂ which, when registering a maintenance history of the facility, uses a retrieval keyword related to the maintenance history to refer to the takeover journal stored in the file server 11, extracts an item corresponding to the retrieval keyword from the takeover journal to make a maintenance history, and registers the maintenance history in a maintenance history database 22B of a facility management system 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
