PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive aluminum alloy material for electrolytic capacitor having high electrostatic capacity, its manufacturing method, and the like.;SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy material has aluminum purity of 99.9 mass% and contains, by mass, Si of 0.006 to 0.025%, Fe of 0.006 to 0.025% and Cu of 0.0005 to 0.008%. Among Al-Fe intermetallic compounds extracted by a thermal phenol dissolution method, those with a size of 1m in average diameter are 70% of Fe content, and those with a size of 0.1 to 1m in average diameter are 10 to 25% of Fe content, and further, Fe content in the sum total of those with a size of 0.1m is 80%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
