PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control bearing wall structure which facilitates mounting thereof by using a planar member of a bearing wall, is excellent in workability, and exerts desired vibration control performance while ensuring a necessary wall magnification.;SOLUTION: The vibration control bearing wall structure 10 is set up by mounting the planar member 14 inside a rectangular frame 13 consisting of a pair of upper and lower horizontal members 11a, 11b, and a pair of right and left vertical members 12b, 12a. The planar member 14 is formed of a pair of right and left divided planar members 14b, 14a, and corner portions 16 of the respective right and left divided planar members 14b, 14a close to one side end faces 15b, 15a along a vertical dividing line L, are cut away, whereby the corner portions 16 secure spaces 17 with respect to the upper and lower horizontal members 11a, 11b. Further the other side end faces 18b, 18a and upper and lower end faces 19a, 19b continue to internal side surfaces of the vertical members 12b, 12a, and to internal side surfaces of corner portions defined by the vertical member internal surfaces and the upper and lower horizontal members 11a, 11b, and the former are rigidly connected to the latter.
