TRACING OF INSTRUCTION TO BE CONJECTURALLY EXECUTED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the difficulty of understanding in trace data output when a conjecturally executed instruction is canceled afterwards in tracing of a data processor for executing a conjectural instruction.SOLUTION: A trace unit includes: a trace circuit 50 for monitoring behavior of a processor; a storage circuit 60 for storing present trace control data to control the trace circuit 50; and a data store 65 for storing at least a part of the trace control data. The trace circuit 50 is configured so as to store the trace control data in the data store 65 in accordance with detection of execution of an instruction group. The trace circuit 50 extracts at least a part of the trace control data of an instruction group executed before a conjectural execution instruction to be cancelled, which is stored in the data store 65, in response to detection of at least one processor for canceling at least one conjecturally executed instruction group, and stores the extracted trace control data in the storage circuit 60.
