P To provide an electrode for monitoring a corrosion-preventing condition, which does not continue a water draining phenomenon that occurs inside the electrode and accordingly can more precisely monitor the corrosion-preventing condition even in more various environments. PSOLUTION: The cylindrical electrode for monitoring the corrosion-preventing condition is placed at a gap in a part in which corrosion preventive coatings are overlapped in a corrosion preventive coated steel material that is cathodically protected and is buried in the underground, so as to monitor the corrosion-preventing condition of a flaw part in the gap and has a hole communicating the inner part having a measuring electrode placed therein with the outer part. The cap which covers the electrode for monitoring the corrosion-preventing condition and prevents water from draining from the electrode for monitoring the corrosion-preventing condition is installed so as to cover the communicating hole and has an inflow hole for introducing an electric conduction liquid in the outer part into the inner part of the cap.
