PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformalize a terminal voltage between cells of a storage battery while monitoring deterioration of the storage battery. PSOLUTION: In the storage battery status monitoring device 3, terminal voltages of respective unit batteries U1 to U3 to constitute the storage battery 4 is periodically measured at every prescribed time, discharges of the respective unit batteries U1 to U3 are carried out while controlling the measured current and the measured time based on the terminal voltages of the respective unit batteries U1 to U3, and internal resistances of the respective unit batteries U1 to U3 are calculated.
