Target device and camera orientation calculation method and image display method using the same calculation for the camera attitude

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera attitude calculation target device which accurately calculates a camera attitude to the standard plane and acquires appropriate display images based on photographed images on a photograph target plane, a camera attitude calculation method using the device, and an image display method. PSOLUTION: The camera attitude calculation target device has a pattern plane 12 on which a plurality of patterns 14 are formed. In the state that the main body of a target device 10 is placed on the standard plane, a camera 6 placed above the standard plane photographs the pattern plane 12, and feature points are extracted from patterns 14' included in a photographed image 15 of the pattern plane 12 to be used for attitude calculation of the camera 6. The photographed image 15 can be acquired so that the plurality of patterns 14' have a uniform size as the photographed image 15 of the pattern plane 12. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
