PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of a pen core holding force due to permanent distortion in a pen core holding mechanism for exchanging a pen core without disassembling the pen main body, and for holding the acquired pen core.;SOLUTION: This pen core holding member 130 installed inside a pen type input device for holding a pen core to be inserted from one side is provided with an opening side (one end) 131 having an opening 131a for receiving the pen core to be inserted from one side, a pressurizing part side (other end) 132 having a pressurizing part 132a to be abutted to a sensor element and an elastic mechanism part 133 positioned between the opening side (one end) 131 and the pressurizing part side (other end) 132, and equipped with the pen core holding part for holding the pen core.
