PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately generate a displacement correction formula representatively expressing the correlation between the displacement amount of a machine tool and a factor affecting the displacement of the machine tool in a plurality of groups of data.;SOLUTION: A displacement correction formula generating device 40 generating the displacement correction formula expressing the correlation between the displacement amount data of the machine tool 1 and the factor data affecting the displacement of the machine tool 1 includes: a means 431a acquiring the plurality of groups of data composed of the displacement amount data and the factor data; a means 431b generating the displacement correction formula including a coefficient expressing the correlation between the displacement amount data and the factor data in every group of data; a means 432b extracting the coefficient in the displacement correction formula; a means 433b calculating the average value of the coefficients among the plurality of groups of data; and a means 434b generating the representative displacement correction formula representatively expressing the correlation between the displacement amount data and the factor data in the plurality of groups of data by using the average value of the coefficients.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
