PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a suede-like artificial leather having stable antimicrobial properties, good feeling and good appearance. PSOLUTION: The method for producing the antimicrobial suede-like artificial leather by imparting the antimicrobial properties to a suede-like artificial leather dyed with a metal complex acid dye includes a step for dyeing the suede-like artificial leather with the metal complex acid dye, a step for pre-treating the suede-like artificial leather obtained at the dyeing step by using a cationic chemical, and a step for imparting the antimicrobial agent to the pre-treated suede-like artificial leather.
