PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defective sheet removal apparatus capable of surely removing only defective sheets out of continuously conveyed sheets even if the conveying speed of the sheets becomes faster, and of preventing the sheets from jamming.;SOLUTION: This defective sheet removal apparatus includes: a conveyer C for continuously conveying a lot of sheets S in a predetermined shape, which are previously determined as good or bad, at predetermined intervals; and a removing mechanism K for removing the defective sheets Sa which are determined as defective in the conveying process by the conveyor C. The conveyor C is provided with an upstream side conveyer CA and a downstream side conveyor CB. An ejection space E where the defective sheets Sa can be bent for ejection is mounted between the upstream side conveyer CA and the downstream side conveyor CB. The removing mechanism K is installed with a striking rod 10 for striking the detective sheet Sa extended between the upstream side conveyer CA and the downstream side conveyor CB from above so as to bend for ejection; and a motor 20 for driving the striking rod 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
