PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-melting device of an upper section of a fire prevention water tank, which enables a position of a manhole cover to be easily identified even if snow is accumulated, and which facilitates the opening of the manhole cover by preventing the freezing of the manhole cover, so as to contribute to rapid fire fighting.;SOLUTION: A snow-melting board 12 is provided on the fire prevention water tank which enables a manhole 5 provided on the top section 3 of a water tank body 2 buried underground to be closed with the manhole cover 9 via a cover retainer member 6. The cover retainer member 6 for supporting the manhole cover 9, and the heat pipe 11 are built in the snow-melting board 12. A downside heat-absorbing pipe portion 60 of the heat pipe 11 is arranged in water stored in the water tank body 2, and an upside heat-radiation pipe portion 59 thereof is embedded in a snow-melting base plate 21 in the arrangement state of surrounding an outer peripheral portion 24 of the cover retainer member 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
