PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarimetric SAR image processing method capable of generating one SAR image clearly capturing a whole target even if the target has a complicated shape. PSOLUTION: Vertically polarized and horizontally polarized transmitted waves from a transmitter 1 are transmitted from antennas 5 and 6 to a target and received by receivers 7 and 8 to generate SAR images. On each pixel in the plurality of generated polarization-rotated images, an image generation processing part 20 extracts pixels as representative pixels corresponding to specified representative values from among the same pixel positions to generate a reproduction as one SAR image made of the representative pixels.
