PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system preventing inconsistency between the content of advertisement on a POP panel and a price displayed on an electronic price tag when the electronic tag is assembled to the POP panel for use. PSOLUTION: An electronic price tag device 1 detects a panel identification part 33 of the POP panel 30 to be fitted thereto and transmits type information of the POP panel 30 to a host device 50. The host device 50 collates the type information of the POP panel to which the electronic tag device 1 is mounted, with price attribute information stored in a current display state storage part of a price data storage part, and updates price information on the basis of the detected type information of the POP panel and transmits it to the electronic price tag device 1 when those pieces of information are inconsistent with each other.
