PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an early media service of a multimedia form under session initiation protocol (SIP)-based back-to-back user agent (B2BUA) mode operation.;SOLUTION: The disclosed method includes the steps of: receiving an INVITE message containing first session description protocol (SDP) information from an originating terminal and transferring the INVITE message to a terminating terminal; receiving a message containing second SDP information from the terminating terminal that receives the INVITE message; providing the second SDP information to the originating terminal; acquiring media information of contents to be provided as early media and transferring a message containing the acquired media information to the originating terminal; providing early-media to the originating terminal; stopping transferring early-media to the originating terminal after receiving a call response message from the terminating terminal, and establishing a call connection between the originating terminal and the terminating terminal, thereby providing the early media in the call connection between the originating terminal and the terminating terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
