PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein increase in unburnt components in ash of a coal boiler of a thermal electric power plant is liable to occur due to a drop of combustion temperature caused by increase in heat absorption in a furnace after periodic inspection, and setting of the oxygen concentration has been increased to improve combustibility or the number of mills operated has been increased heretofore to cope with the above problem while the operation procedure and criteria for decision are not provided as a unit operation plan, resulting in the disadvantage that the efficiency of the boiler is lowered, the power in the power generation plant is increased, and the ash cannot be effectively utilized.;SOLUTION: This unit corresponding operation method in the state of increasing in unburnt component in ash of the coal boiler, includes: a means 2 for comparing the analysis result 1 of unburnt component in ash of an object unit with the reference value; a means for comparing the average value of unburnt components of the boiler constituting a unit with the reference value when it exceeds the reference value; a means 8 for operating to increase the supply of oxygen to the maximum set value when the average value exceeds the reference value; and a means 11 for increasing the number of mills operated when it exceeds the reference value regardless of increasing the supply of oxygen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
