PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing implement of an inner cotton pad type such as a marker, a ball-point pen and a brush pen which furthermore improves the resistance to falling impact performance, has good writing properties, and can accurately detect a finishing sign of an ink. PSOLUTION: In the writing implement, the ink impregnated in an ink occluding body 10 in a back shaft 20 is fed into a pen core 60 through a detecting tube 40, and the finishing sign of the ink from the ink occluding body 10 is detected by visually recognizing the detecting tube 40 through a front shaft 30 with visibility.
